Born in 1987 in Shimane, Japan.
Daichi attended Teachers College Education Department at Yamaguchi University to study school education and earned First Class Teacher Certificate for primary school and Second Class Teacher Certificate(technology) for junior high school. During his student years, he became involved as a supporting staff to assist education programs and making documentation at YCAM.

After five and a half years of study, his strong interests in media technology led him to work at a factory in Shimane among colleagues from various Asian countries. He later moved to Tokyo and joined a team comprised of ultra-technologists.

In 2013 Daichi returned to YCAM as a ‘play leader’(supervising staff) for the public program “Korogaru Pavilion”, and subsequently joined the team as an educator in April 2014. He is engaged in the overall education and public programs, such as taking a role as a facilitator in the original workshops and organizing “Korogaru Koen Park” project, whilst also being involved in the management of an alternative space “Maemachi Art Center(MAC)” in the city. He seek to build programs while paying special regard to how they are being documented, and intends to share the experience achieved from workshops to wider audience.
