Born in 1987 in Niigata, Japan.
Momoko studied art at Tama Art University. Dressed in her metallic outfit, she spent every night circulating from one club to another in Roppongi, Daikanyama, and Shibuya areas. Being a sociable person, she was often in charge of receiving guests such as visiting artists and curators from overseas and also worked as an assistant to the gallerist. As she was investigating about fashion brands in her research at school, she began working at attaché de presse company(public relations agency) as PR assistant for domestic and international leading fashion brands.

Momoko continued to work at the PR company, though, she couldn’t give up her wish to work in art industry, and subsequently crossed the seas to escape. After wandering around the States, Europe, and Africa, she returned to Japan and embarked on a new career at a gallery in Tokyo. Dealing with artists from Japan and overseas, she keenly realized the importance of publicizing artist’s work and activities through various approaches in addition to exhibiting in gallery space.

In June 2014, Momoko joined the team of YCAM and has been working on publicizing the exhibitions, performances, and programs at the Center. Bustling around the city of Yamaguchi, she endeavors to spread to the world about, not to mention the YCAM projects and the related artists, but also the people in the neighborhood and the original local culture.
