Born in 1982 in Yamaguchi, Japan.
After studying filmmaking at a college in Tokyo, Takuro worked at a film production company then returned to his hometown. At the point he joined the YCAM staff team in April 2004, he had neither worked at theatre nor art institution before. He worked under a strict direction by Mitsuo Uno(also known as a dancer Man Uno) who was a technical director at the time, working through a series of process from the artwork production to the stage removal, and developed his insights about the use of stage mechanism and learned a range of production techniques required.

Now Takuro’s primal responsibilities focus on providing technical management over the YCAM-hosted programs, as well as giving stage direction and designing space for exhibitions and furniture. He always seeks the ways to make the production process more enjoyable, such as by raising a sense of unity among the people who are involved including artists, designers, and external constructors, actively engaging himself to facilitate creative discussions, and speeding up the process of prototyping to get the flow into the groove.
